Club Origins

Founded in 1957 and renamed in 2006, Lecq Clay Target Club is a leading destination for outdoor clay target shooting for teams and individuals.

A Brief History

Lecq Clay Target Club was officially established in 2006 by Mike & Janet Smith and Jack & Kathy Hanby, under a formal constitution designed to promote and support the sport of clay shooting in Jersey. Set on the grounds of Lecq Farm, our club continues a proud tradition of safe and inclusive shooting for all skill levels.

Facilities are open to members and corporate guests with permission and oversight from the owners. Lecq CTC is proud to be a registered member of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA), with certified CPSA safety officers, qualified coaches, and full insurance cover in place.

Weekend Shoots

Saturday Sport Trap & Skeet 2-5pm and Sunday Morning Sporting & Skeet at 10am.

Weekday Bookings

Weekday sessions for DTL, skeet, sporting, and simulated game by appointment only.

Welcoming Atmosphere

Beginners, visitors, and improvers are all welcome with prior notice and permission preferred.

Competitions

Lecq has international standard ranges and hosts International Sporting and Skeet Competitions. The Jersey Island Games clay target shoots were held at Lecq with competitors from islands worldwide.

Training

Lecq Clay Target Club has CPSA trained Safety Officers and Referees. We can arrange Skills training courses for individuals or Groups. Individual sessions for specific target training is available. Lecq hosts visiting professional trainers offering individual sessions for UK and International competition purposes.
